TERYN MITCHELL (CANADA)

TERYN MITCHELL (CANADA)

Club: Commonwealth Lawn Bowling Club and Edmonton Indoor Club

Occupation: Highschool Student

Aero Bowls Used: Grooves, size 1.5

Why Do I Use Aero Bowls?: I use Aero because they give me the confidence I need to play at my best. I have complete trust in my Aero bowls to give me my desired outcome throughout the game, whether it be a simple draw or an upweight shot. Once my bowl is rolled, I know exactly where it will stop, and am able to make the correct adjustments immediately. While I'm competing, I have faith that my line will be the exact same each time, just as the slogan says. Aero bowls allow me to believe in my bowls and abilities by delivering a reliable draw, and a comfortable feel in my hands.

Career Goals: To represent Canada at the highest levels and continue to push myself to my limits, inspiring other young lawnbowlers around the world.

Most admired player: Charlie Taylor and Joanna Cooper

Favorite Greens: Commonwealth Lawnbowling club and Calgary Lawnbowling club

Favorite Quote: “it is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome.”
- William James

Other Hobbies/Interests: I love to draw, paint, and make prints, anything to do with art. My favorite medium is alcohol marker. I also love to read and immerse myself in the make belief worlds. In addition, I’ve found great joy in warhammer, assembling, painting, and battling with the models. I like to bake, sleep, and go shopping, as well as hang out with my friends.
