Chanel Chakouch is a 15 years old and a student at Sydney Secondary College
Balmain Campus in year 10. She first started bowls at the age 10 after following in my grandfather's footsteps. She fell in love with bowls when she entered in her first ever tournament at 11 years old with her grandfather at Taren Point, and placed third. Throughout these past few years she has had had some major achievements. Such as representing my state (NSW) at the U18 Australian Championships in 2022 at Broadbeach and come away with bronze in the triples and silver NSW team overall. In addition, she was Runner Up in the Junior Golden Nugget 2023. Furthermore, she has also won many minor and major club championships.
