- Started playing in 1996. The sport runs in the family with his mother, father and sister all playing, while his in-laws and wife are all quite good.
- Goals in bowls are to win another World Title, winning a Commonwealth Games gold medal and to be a positive role model for future Jackaroos.
- Loves spicy food whether it be Indian or Thai, as well as the fail safe, steak and veg.
- First major bowls achievement was his debut for Australia in 2007 and winning gold in the World Team Cup.
- Outside bowls he works as a club coach and green keeper.
