At the 2026 Australian Open at Broadbeach, most competitors could be seen playing with Aero Bowls, with Team Aero players claiming many of the championship titles. Aero players won the Men’s Singles, Men’s Pairs, Men’s Fours, Women’s Over-60 Pairs, Vision-Impaired Open Pairs and Under-18 Girls Singles, further reinforcing Aero’s reputation as the bowl of choice for the world’s leading players.
The blue-ribbon Men’s Singles title was won by Aaron Teys, who defeated fellow Team Aero player Tyson Wilson in a spectacular all-Aero final to claim his second Australian Open singles crown. Corey Wedlock and Gary Kelly successfully defended their Men’s Pairs title, while Wedlock was also named the Australian Open Player of the Tournament after winning both the Men’s Pairs and Mixed Pairs and finishing runner-up in the Men’s Fours.
The next generation also shone brightly, with Annabelle Teague capturing the Under-18 Girls Singles title whilst Jacob Aitken and his teammates won the Men’s Four. Team Aero’s Jake Fehlberg claimed his remarkable 11th Australian Open title by winning the Vision-Impaired Open Pairs alongside Dallas Harding. In the Women’s Over-60 Pairs, Team Aero’s Faye Clarke and Dianne Reed completed another outstanding victory.
